Reading is one of my favorite things to do. I've always got a book or two on the go, and lately I've been trying to branch out and try different genres (although I seem to have found a new favorite in mysteries). This is where I'll tell you what I think about the books I've read.

The Art of Racing in the Rain, by Garth Stein ****
This little book which I thought was going to be a trivial story, turned into one, for me, that uncovered profound images and memories and opened my mind to new ideas about how we live and how we die and to what base level an ordinary human being will sink to accomplish a goal or satisfy a selfish need.
